About Garden Buds, Nelson Landscapers and Gardeners


A Nelson family business, working across Nelson and Tasman since 2022. Garden Buds is a local, family-owned landscaping and gardening business. Proud Filipino roots, grateful to be Kiwi. Founded by Shadi, who migrated to NZ in 2011 and found a new passion working outdoors with plants. He trained in Horticulture through Wintec and has papers in Landscape Design, with experience across Auckland and Nelson.

Our promise

We create outdoor spaces designed around your family, with indoor-outdoor flow in mind. We build durable, long-lasting hardscapes that avoid frequent repair and premature replacement. We are stewards of New Zealand native revegetation, which gives local birds a home and reduces the need for excessive watering.

Our staff hold BCITO training, are first aid trained and have GrowSafe certification. They are paid at least the New Zealand living wage. Good work comes from people who are treated well.

Nelson, Richmond, Stoke, Atawhai, Tahunanui, Wakefield, Mapua and Ruby Bay. We travel further for the right project.
